Vendor Guidelines:
The 2008 Waterford Pumpkin Festival is approaching quickly and we are planning for our biggest and best event to date. The dates for this year’s festival are October 24th - 26th.
The Pumpkin Festival committee has made a number of changes over the winter months. These changes will allow us to operate in a smoother manner and should help with the overall outcome of the Festival. Please take the time to carefully read this information and complete your application form, as there have been some changes that will affect you.
Ø Payment in full is required to confirm your spot.
Ø No refunds after September 1, 2008
Ø Copy of liability Insurance and/or insurance certificate must accompany each application
Ø Food Vendors: Please read over the enclosed form from Norfolk County Health Unit, it addresses the new requirements and information. Norfolk County (519-426-5870), should be contacted for information about licensing fees and inspections.
Ø Acceptance into previous Pumpkinfest does not guarantee acceptance of your application
Ø Pumpkinfest will maintain diversity in all categories to ensure variety.
Ø There will be no changing of assigned locations.
Ø Limited hydro hookups are available.
Ø Please respect our neighbours.
Ø All sites must be left in a clean condition and waste put into dumpsters provided
Ø No sales of any raffle tickets or draws of any type.
Ø No sales of fireworks, smoke bombs, snaps, replica weapons or glow in the dark items, except as pre-arranged with Outdoor Vendor Coordinator.
Ø Security is very minimal. Pumpkinfest assumes no responsibility for loss or damage.
Ø Please wear your vendor ribbons at all times to access barricades
Hours of Operation:
Friday 4 P.M. until ?
Saturday 10 A.M. until 5 P.M.
Sunday 10 A.M. until 5 P.M.
NO vehicles will be allowed on the parking lot between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and Friday from 4:00p.m. until 9:00 p.m., this includes loading and unloading your vehicles.
